Shotgun GunFighting

The battle axe of the modern gunfighting is the shotgun. The shotgun remains the ultimate close quarters battle power tool and of all the weapons, it is inherently suited to the aggressive A.C.T.A. style of shooting. This dynamic course presents a clean and effective study on how to best use this weapon and why it remains the best choice for many applications.

After a brief overview of the fundamentals and a skill check, we progress quickly to advanced reality-based drills. This is the Shotgun version of Combat Handgunning. We will cover proper gear selection and placement, proper zero with shotgun and ammo types, fundamentals of shotgun work, shot pattering, Real world stress-proof reloads, weapon transitions, and ammunition changes, Dynamic movement and shooting, bilateral firing, use of cover.

All shotguns welcome - whether they are doubles, custom semi autos, or plain jane pump actions. We will teach you to run it to its utmost and deadliest level.
